Rainy Lake

"Thursday marks the official ice out date for Rainy Lake this year.


Dan Traska, a commercial pilot and flight instructor with Einarson's Flying Service, reported early Friday morning to The Journal that he had flown over Rainy Lake around 7:30 a.m. and found no ice that would impede a boat from traveling from Sand Bay to Kettle Falls."
