Earlier by 4 days from last year 2008 which was on 05/07/08. We hung the feeder in a shaded spot near our porch on the north side. Not an easy spot to find but so far every year the ruby throated hummer has discovered it. We wonder if perhaps it's the same little guy who came to us last May and so has a very good memory.He was preceded this year for the first time by the colourful Baltimore Oriole. The oriole feeder was quite up and ready so he initially went for the hummingbird feeder.
