We have been watching and waiting for our hummingbirds to return. They have been north and west of us for many days. Finally, Sunday evening, our first hummingbird was reported. FYI: Our spring is very late this year, since we had no rain at all until April 14th. In the next week, we received almost 4 inches of rain and our leaves are finally coming out. The maples and box elders are in flower, and the crab trees are budding. It is finally spring in Waushara County!
