First male today looking very fit and healthy. Vibrant colors, enjoying nectar, homemade suet and raspberry jam. Singing for female on feeder stand.
Box elders, crabapple, chokecherry, redtwig dogwood, honey locus and lilacs are leafing out the past week or two. Wild violets in bloom. I love spring.
