On Friday we knew our tulips were ready to burst and after a beautiful sunny weekend we were not disappointed to see our first 6 in full bloom! They are beautiful!
The ones on the downhill side of the bed have been slower to emerge and to form buds. They are about 10 days behind the ones at a slightly higher elevation. Could it be that the ground stayed frozen longer on the downhill side? We are still watching them grow.
