I saw her as I was pulling into my driveway on 5/02/09 but I wasn't sure if she was a Viceroy or not. Today She was in my yard again and landed, I walked to within about 5 feet of her and with her wings open, I knew for sure she was a female Monarch. I had an early one last spring too.
