I believe that i spotted a Allen's hummingbird at my feeder today. From my book on Hummingbirds these species dont come as
far as Douglas Co.

I could not get close enough to see the red throat, but it had the most brilliant orange feathers. That is what struck me the
most about this little bird.

Do they come up this far?
