From April 13 to April 21, 22 out of 31 bulbs planted bloomed. Some have bigger blooms than the others. We wondered why and guessed that maybe some got more water and sunlight than the others. There were about 5 bulbs near a walk way that emerged but did not bloom. They looked small and brown like they got stepped. A few months back, we also dug up 3 bulbs to study their growing progress as they were developing their tips and roots. Our small school yard looks beautiful and many of the other students asked about and shared compliments about the beautiful tulips.
