Several years ago,my husband made me an Oriole feeder in hopes of luring Orioles to our place, but nothing happened for years. We stayed faithful about putting fresh oranges out weekly and last year we were rewarded with our first Oriole family. This year he put up our Oriole feeder about 3 weeks ago, and today our first male Oriole is at the oranges. They are so beautiful and we love their song. He has been back four different times so far today.
