On May 7th, 09 I saw two adult Monarchs on Dame's Rocket (Hesperis matronalis. This was at Noon; weather was sunny, 79 degrees F. At 2pm, saw a single adult monarch on Soapwort (Saponaria ocymoides). Our weather has been very stormy with high winds and heavy rain which I think may have hampered migration. We have many Swallowtails in the flowers that are blooming right now. We plant and cultivate plants with butterflies in mind.
