I thought I reported seeing the ruby-throated hummingbird I saw on this day, but perhaps not. I had my feeder out for about two weeks, as it usually returns about mid April. I saw the first male about 1:30 p.m., on May 1. I think this is the latest I can remember it returning. Each year I am as excited as when I saw my first one many years ago.
