Monarch sighted at 9:10 a.m., 87 degrees, nectaring on a sunflower in my front yard. It flew over my house into the backyard where it danced among the flowers before flying west into a neighbor's yard. The highs have been in the low 100's the last few days, so I was surprised to see the monarch! Couldn't tell if it was male or female, but it was in an excellent condition.
