Our tulips bloomed on April 14 despite having been chewed to the ground twice after emerging. They persisted and produced buds and flowers! Deer hoof prints were a clue to who was finding our leaves tasty. Squirrels then pulled apart some of the flowers. This is the first year in six that we had trouble in our garden.
