We found this first milkweed plant. It was approximately 6" tall. There were 2 other plant shoots off the main one. We also found another field with many plants coming up. (over 10). Most of these plants are "old" plants from last year. We have not seen "new" seedlings. All the plants have a thick stem and rougher leaves. No sightings of adult monarchs, no eggs yet. We continue to look. We did plant some milkweed seeds, we have not seen any imerge from that planting.
