It was a very warm day here yesterday (5/16). I hadn't seen any hummers for the past 2 weeks & see by Journey North that they are way up north and into Canada. So I was contemplating taking down the feeders when lo & behold a small hummer arrived. It looked to be a female. Is this a straggler? Will there be more? Should I leave the feeders up a bit longer?
