Monarch Adult (FIRST sighted)

Date: 05/15/2009

Number: 1

A tiny larva -- probably no more than 1/4 to 3.8 inches long; I've seen no Monarchs, in fact only a couple of cabbage whites and a few swallowtails. Milkweed in my garden, scattered, not a large solid patch.

Editor's Note: The presence of larva means an adult monarchs has arrived in this area. Therefore, we are adding this larvae report to the migration map.
