Hummingbird, Ruby-throated (FIRST)

Date: 05/19/2009

Number: 1

Prayer answered! Our first male RT briefly checked out our feeders this afternoon then hovered right infront of me at the window with the sun reflecting off his glowing ruby throat feathers brighter than any jewel ever! He just had a second to say "I'm here" and quickly flew off. He is very busy as we've had three or four young females this past week. That is the most I've ever seen at one time at our feeders.
