Mom and I put our hummingbird feeder out on May 16 because we usually welcome the hummingbirds back the long weekend in May or shortly afterwards. Before school this morning we opened the door to see if any food was gone and scared an Oriole from the feeder. We continued to watch the yard and feeder with hopes of the Oriole returning. While we were watching our first Ruby Throated Hummingbird landed on one of our willow trees then proceeded to the feeder. What a way to start our day!
