We had a Robin's nest from last year (2008) in our holly bush about a foot and a half off the ground and we now have a robin and 3 chicks in the nest this year. The male robin was killed yesterday morning we think by a hawk. I am worried about the babies when they become fledglings. I'm wondering if the mother will be able to care for all three chicks. The chicks are quite large and making a big fuss when fed. I'm sure they will be leaving the nest soon.
