It's been really cold, so I wasn't expecting the hummers so early. It never ceases to amaze me to see a hummingbird hovering at the spot where my feeder usually is, even when it's not there. Like the chickadees who scold me when they've run out of seed, the hummingbirds let me know when it's time to put out their feeder.
