We have been following the hummingbird and monarch migrations on Journey North for since early April during library time. Many of my students reported seeing Monarchs on Friday afternoon (May 21,2009). At least twenty-five students reported seeing Monarchs in the Hayward area over the Memorial Day Weekend. Thank you for the awesome site that 375 students in third, fourth,and fifth grades have been excited to learn about and become migration watchers as a result.
