Our class has been anxiously awaiting the return of the monarch butterfly. We spotted several this weekend. One student spotted a monarch flying near flowers in her neighbor's backyard. Another student saw a monarch flying near her front door on May 22nd. Another class member watched a monarch going from flower to flower in her backyard on May 23rd. We are glad they are back in our area.
