I saw one yesterday May 26, 2009 around 2 pm flying in the Burley Campground here in Pinery Provincial Park, and it was the first individual that I have seen this year. I am familiar with Viceroys as well, it was most definitely a Monarch, but it flew off before I could see whether it was male or female.
