I have been lamenting the fact that I have not seen any monarchs nor have I found any eggs on my milkweed which is about 3 feet tall. Today, much to my surprise, I found a first instar cat on the milkweed. This means that a monarch was in my garden perhaps one to rwo weeks ago. We have had so much rain this spring............I sure hope this little cat makes it to maturity..........
