The first adult emerged today with one more sometime today...I wasn't expecting this until Monday which would have been 12 days....it's only 10 days since it went into a chrysalis. This was one of two which I brought in off the plant on 5/3 and it hatched out on 5/6 and went into the chrysalis on 5/20 and emerged 5/30. It was a month and two days since the eggs were laid on the 3 inch high milkweed.


Nature is ready when It's ready...we can plan and expect, but it nice to get surprises.
