While visiting in Chesterton, IN, Porter county, not far from Chicago, I found 3 monarch eggs on foot high milkweed growing in a flowerbed in front of an antique shop. I have not yet seen a Monarch. Nor have I found any eggs at my own home 200 miles south of here.
