I saw a female monarch butterfly in my flower garden. I have milkweed up about 8" tall. The female was flitting around above the milkweed. After the monarch flew away, I checked for eggs, but there weren't any yet. It is actually a little late to be spotting my first one. I usually see them about a week earlier.
