We observed Monarch caterpillars and chrysalises on milkweed leaves today. We saw approx. 12 chrysalises and 5 caterpillars. The caterpillars were eating the milkweed. 1 chrysalis let out a yellowish liquid on a person's hand which then turned brown and black.
