while taking a walk near farmer fields I spotted my first monarch of the season at exactly 5:15pm...a joy to behold, the next day I began seeing yellow swallowtails, however, this past week and the week to come are predicted to be below normal temps, so there will not be much butterfly activity..hope it warms up soon!
