Monarchs have not yet arrived in Winnipeg. Most years they have arrived by now. As in Toronto, Winnipeg weather is too cold. It has been close to records most days for weeks, but is expected to reach the long-term average on the weekend - and that is only 23C or about 73F.

Monarchs reached Fargo ND 14 days ago. With warmer weather and strong south winds by the week-end, Winnipeg should see them.
Milkweed is delayed by weather but is adequate. None over 1 foot tall, but many shoots ready to go when weather warms.
