Well, monarchs are finally back in Manitoba. I was on a field trip Friday (June 19) south of Winnipeg, at various sites from near the Minnesota border to about 30 km south of Winnipeg and saw monarchs at just about every site. And the folks at Winnipeg's Living Prairie Museum report seeing monarchs in the city during the latter part of last week.
