On June 4th we noticed that there was a nest in an apple tree that is in our yard and is abservable from our dining room window. Upon firther investigation I observed that unmistakeable turquiose colored eggs of a robin. There were 3 eggs in the nest and I abserved a broken one on the ground below the tree. Days later only 2 eggs were left. My wife found the remnants of 3rd egg shell the next day.
June 12th I noticed 2 young hatchlings in the nest.
Since then we have taking pictures and videos of the happenings. It is June 27th and the young have almost full plumage, even the starting of tail feathers are visable.
