I have had 2 and 3 Monarchs visiting every day this week. They have left a lot of eggs. 99% of those eggs have been laid on the tiny flower buds or tucked farther in the big buds. I also have a male patrolling my patch. I am just wondering if he isn't bringing over the females.

It was very hot and humid here the past few days and the butterflies were really laying eggs those days.

Be sure to check those flower buds. That is probably where the eggs are hiding.
