I am growing milkweed in my front parkway in Western Springs. About 10 plants are just beginning to bloom. I am hoping that I get monarchs. So far I have not spotted my first monarch.

Also, at our other house in NW ILLINOIS, where we visited last weekend, I have about 10 plants growing in the front yard. They are almost in bloom. This location would be near the town of Davis, Illinois, which is about 10 miles South of the Wisc/IL border, northwest of Rockford, IL about 20 miles. Our property is in the gated community called Lake Summerset.
