Spotted red-wing black bird around the first of July. I usually see many but unfortunately was forced to remove the only tree from my property. I live on Barnagat Bay - the cherry tree was old and was losing leaves. But it was a favorite place of many birds like red wing black birds, golden finches, house finches, and purple finches. Can't forget the hummingbirds that enjoy perching there too. Now all the birds are enjoying my perennial garden perching in the Rosa Rogosa, Alabahama Honesuckle and Russian Sage.
