Monarch Adult (FIRST sighted)

Date: 07/05/2009

Number: 1

The first monarch of the season arrived in my yard the first week of July. She was a tattered female who laid a number of eggs on my milkweed plant. They have now hatched and the larvae are very tiny. I can see 12 to 15 of them.
