Saw first monarch butterfly yesterday at my purple coneflowers.But I know the butterflies have been around before that because I found catapillars on my milkweed plants on July 11,2009.I have been raising catapillars for 4 summers now and I have never found catapillars this early.I have monarchs in all stages from eggs up to chrysalis.
