Was at Canelo [Marsh] on Tuesday [Aug. 4]. Found some Monarchs nectaring in the
field. The field is in great shape - Milkweed plants are 3-4 feet high. Tagged 4 Monarchs - all boys. Three were in poor condition (faded, torn wings). Conditions were calm winds, sunny with approaching thunderstorm, temps 95. Also saw three Monarch cats! I'll be there next Saturday as well. Adriane Grimaldi
