A juvenile male Rufous hummingbird perched outside my window this morning at about 8:30 am. Since he was sitting on the same perch, on the same feeder, in the same bush as the one I reported on before, I expect it is probably the same one who apparently likes it here and is staying around instead of heading south. I first saw him on August 9. I had not seen him yesterday so thought he had left. Of course, it could be another one.
