I was doing field work today (Aug. 18) in Caswell Game Land -- a different spot along and near Mary Jane Bigelow Road. Though I was inside the woods most of the time, I hit a bunch of thistle (non-native species) in bloom along roadsides and wooded edges. A few other nectar plants were along edges, as well. So, this is a good list for so little time spent outside the forest interior, and relatively few nectar sources:
