Comments from the observer:

Last week I saw one lonely monarch in our yard and it stayed around for a couple of days. I remarked
to a friend that it seemed lost and it was either coming late or had left early!

I will now monitor daily around the neighbourhood but it has been very hot and humid for the past week
...about 30 Celcius- 33-34. Now that is confusing for everyone -- including the monarchs!

Hopefully they will visit us sometime in the next month!
