This year Aug. 20, 2009 we have had a return of the Baltimore Orioles to our backyard. They nested nearby, chased the Bluejays out of their territory and came daily for the oranges and grape jelly. Watched the mother feed her young (very nice to see), and am assuming the parents have left as they do normally in Aug. Still putting an orange halved and grape jelly out, and usually see the Oriole each morning and evening. It appears to be a male youngster. This year they have stayed later than last year.
