We haven't been able to enjoy our ruby-throated hummingbirds feasting at our feeders this year as our deck has been under construction. Last night, however, we had one trapped in our garage at dusk. He could NOT find his way out. I eventually had to shut the doors but reopened them this morning. He quickly found his way into the daylight. He mad a considerable about of noise when trapped and flew repeatedly into his shadow on the ceiling. He also liked to rest on electrical wires run along the ceiling.
