I have been watching the hummingbirds come to the plants and the feeder on my deck all summer. I mostly have observed the females, but I did see a splash of bright green one day. I especially see them in the morning around 7-8 am. I also hear them when I work in the garden. One morning the feeder was empty and a hummingbird buzzed by my head as I was reading the paper. I'm sure he was telling me to fill it up again!
