Both males and females come to the feeder from early morning to dusk. Sometimes two males will chase one another until the dominant one feeds ends-up feeding first.
I have noticed that sometimes a male will allow a female to feed alongside but other times the male will chase the female. The female will wait at a branch in a nearby tree until the male takes flight.
