Hummingbird Sighting

Date: 08/21/2009

Number: 1

At least a half dozen hummingbirds visiting feeders and flowers, chasing and chattering (around the house and outbuildings, zigzagging through sunflower stalks, in and out the open door and vents of the greenhouse, etc.) I think most of them are young Rufous hummers, though there's one that looks a little slim and long-tailed to be a Rufous. One is definitely a young Anna's.
