My hummingbird feeder is just above a large group of tomato plants around my front porch. As I was picking tomatoes last evening, a male, ruby throated hummingbird "buzzed" me since I was in his territory. I also saw two females darting across the yard from one of my butterfly bushes to a nearby tree branch.
