We've just started seeing our first sightings of the Monarchs this week with a few passing through on Tuesday 8/17 and Wednesday 8/18. We're anxiously waiting to see if we can observe the roosts of old out in our woods but so far no such luck. What an awesome experience in the past to see thousands.

August 27
We went out last night to check but didn't see a thing! My daughter thought she saw about a dozen on Hwy 210 near Brainerd MN on Tuesday mid-day this week. There appear to be less milkweed and blooming thistle but lots of goldenrod in bloom.
