I saw a ruby throated hummingbird at my feeder this afternoon. Black throated juveniles are still here feeding as well as adults. I have flowering plants to attract these birds and my feeders are always refreshed. Texas has been so hot and dry, I'm sure their visit will be brief and they will be delighted to reach the tropical rain forests of Central and South America.
