We put out 2 feeders about 2 months ago and have had 2 steady hummers...rufous and broad-tailed. Now we have 2 rufous, about 3 broad-tailed, and there may have been a calliope here for a week or so. They seem okay with us in the yard. And the one female rufous sits for up to 25 minutes waiting to attck another who thinks it is their turn to drink.
